There's another moment in this film that no one has yet mentioned.
When Darien/Adrienne is trying to get Nick to come to her parents' party, he responds "I'll try" and starts to leave the room. She then blocks the doorway and says "not good enough!"
I was already drooling at that point. She looked extraordinarily sexy right then - and of course she never stopped looking so.
And at the "makeout point" after the party she looked good enough to... well, REALLY good!

shareI personally don't think she's this amazing sex pot everyone keeps raving about on here. The noises/squeaks/cries and faces she makes are strange. She twists her lips into these strange shapes and makes the weirdest gestures, scoffing sounds, etc. She did this in Clueless, too. I can't stand the way she sounds when she screams or cries. It looks SO fake and strained.
As for her character in The Crush, well, she was an annoying, childish, little pest. She had no sex appeal. When she tried to, it came off as corny as hell.
Drew Barrymore on the other hand, had it all down in Poison Ivy. She played the vixen very well. Perhaps Alicia should have went to whatever acting school she did.
