Am I the only one who noticed this?
Now, I don't wanna anger the hard core Blood In Blood Out Miklo fans here but..is it me? or at the very end of the movie, after he's done telling the other Onda members they're going to be transferred to their home states and to "spread the Onda gospel, Billy Graham Style" when he is speaking to Magic Mike, he said something like "you will stay right here with me, you're the leg I don't have, the other half of mi corazon" and then the way Miklo and Magic looked at each other, and talked to each other...it seemed kind of gay to me. It was definitely hard-core prison bromance, but it did have a hint of gayness in it, that's what I think.
Now before any of you out there insult me, just remember that homosexuality is common in American prisons and perhaps this was the film maker's very subtle way of showing it. Also remember that Miklo is never showed having a girlfriend or even showing interest in a female throughout the film, even before he gets locked up. All he ever cares about is "fitting in with the boys".
Any feed back on this would be greatly appreciated. Am I the only one who is picking this up from the film?
