This excellent movie is sexy and suspenseful. Madonna here is much better than Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct. The theme of S & M has many levels here, not just that of sex. The courtroom drama is intriguing. Perhaps those who dislike that part would also be turned off by trials such as those of O.J. Simpson and Scott Peterson.

Its not that 'BAD', I really enjoyed it.
The acting is OK and Madonna looks great.
I think some people would be shocked at the sex scenes and think 'what the hell is she doing' it all depends on what shocks you or not.
I hope this movie made a few people think about their own sex life and how it could be spiced up. Not with broken lighbulbs of course!!

Personally,I loved the movie,despite all the bad reviews I had read about it.The sex scenes were just great and the whole story was good.
While I was watching the movie I always thought Rebecca was innocent...so I was a little bit shocked when I realized she was guilty. LOL
I guess I can say that this movie is one of my favorites =)
luckily it doesn't matter to me because i no longer want to see this film, but usually when you write something about the plot as big as whether THE main character is guilty or not you put in ****SPOILERS**** before....

Some movies are just so bad that they are actually entertaining, and I think Body of Evidence comfortably fits into this catagory. It's main problem is that it tries a little too hard to compete with and outdo Basic Instinct, when really its not much more than an obvious rip-off of that movie.

but this movie doesn't have to be compared to basic instinct all the time...the fact is that it's good that a movie like this was made...and there haven't been enough movies in this style....which are proper movies not tv movies/softcore/soft porn movies....for adults to watch...
"sexual thrillers" or whatever u wanna call em should be made a lot more on a big scale with proper actors in em..on a large and respectable enough scale...there's a huge market/demand for em....um...practically every couple/anyone with a sex life...will go to the cinema with their partner or rent a dvd of this kinda movie...why the hell not...and get something out of it...
can you think of many recent movies in the basic instinct/body of evidence style??
good sex scenes in the midst of a thriller...with a great sexy score...more of these movies are needed....

This film is one of the very worst films ever ever made. Given its budget and (theoretically professional) cast, it may be THE single worst film ever made.
