For myself, I started watching it only because Bruce Campbell was in it...but then I LOVED the entire show...then along came Whip Morgan *content sigh* he is the cutest cowboy...my favorite character.

An out an out tie between Briscoe County Jnr. and Professor Wickwire. And considering Bruce Campbell and John Astin are both highly underrated actors with some of the best comedic timing I've ever seen not to mention how well they got along I'm surprised they haven't worked together since.
