Did the SAS hit the wrong camp?Did I miss something?

So if the SAS killed everyone at the camp(as seen in the very cool live sattelite view), how did 3 of them attack Ryans home at the end of the movie? Wouldn't they all be dead after the SAS camp strike. Who did the SAS team kill?

The SAS team did kill everyone at the correct camp, but the three who attacked Ryan's house left before SAS showed up. One guy even calls Jack to tell him that they identified, with dental records, the rare book dealer Dennis Cooley, but that it was going to take a while to identify everyone else b/c it was so messy. The implication then is that the three left for Ryan's house before SAS got there.

This was the SAME question I had for years about this movie. They show nothing of the aftermath of the attack.

I blame Ryan for all the carnage at the end, and his he and his family almost getting whacked again. They had Miller and company at the camp but don't send in Special Ops because Ryan was not 100% sure. That allowed Miller, O'Donnell and company to get out of camp. First instincts are right and if the attack was done on the camp when it should, no state troopers and other innocents get killed at the end. But then there be no movie.

so if the main crew had already left then I wonder who the figure was who was crawling and clearly shown to still be alive? it seemed to be indicating someone important hadn't been finished off by the SAS

The scene with the bald bookstore guy explained this detail - they left. The book dude wanted to go with them, as he knew they were leaving, but they didn’t take him because they felt he was untrained
