I just loved his cameo in this film. I really miss seeing that swing on the southside.

Amen. Back when this movie was made, the skill level of Frank's character wasn't even that farfetched.

Not enough Frank though, just the back of him mostly and the side of his face. I remember as a kid, praying that I got a Frank card when I opened up an Upper Deck pack.

Excellent hitter, but not much else (e.g. defense or baserunning). Interestingly, this film was released in 1992. Frank Thomas was still a relatively new guy -- only 1 season completed? He eventually went to the HOF, but they didn't know he'd be there when they made this movie. Had his career went bust, his cameo would've looked bad. I guess the filmmakers picked the right guy
