My favorite shot of the movie is when Riggs is on the motorcycle chasing them on the bridge and you see him come through the smoke in slow motion. Classic shot.

No kidding. Donner on the commentary says he was mad at Mel in a joking way because he was supposed to have a stunt double, and he did it himself. AMAZING.

Jean-Claude Van Damme wanted to outdo that shot in Hard Target but the studio would only let it happen with a stunt double.

hah yes i agree it's pretty good.
the movie is OK for a part 3, i watch it here and there.
