Roger shouldn't have fell into depression over Darryl's killing

I mean common. He had no other choice. Darryl would kill him and Riggs. Roger should have realized that this was not murder but self defense. And it wasn't Travis' fault either cause it was Darryl who chose to have this lifestyle. Travis didn't force him to buy a weapon from him but Darryl chose to buy a machine gun from him. It was Darryl's fault 100 percent. Remember when Nick said I don't blame you dad. I blame Darryl. He was right.

It was probably the writer's way to make up for Lethal Weapon 2, where Riggs and Murtaugh taunt the bad guys and in doing so, their entire team (minus the captain) is murdered. Neither showed remorse after that event.
