not as good as original

didnt have same charm

Really? Well to me it was better and funnier

I enjoy it, but it’s more a guilty pleasure than anything else. While it does have it’s charm and some genuinely funny moments, it mostly follows the typical sequel formula of being basically a rehash of the first, only bigger and stupider.

I actually thought it had more charm... Both are really good but I really do love the NYC at Christmas aspect. I thought the plot with the toy store was great. the bird lady was sweet. the Hotel staff were fun. Was there more 'that would never happen' moments? sure but I enjoy this very much.

I’ve always loved both, and believe they both have their own individual charm, unlike some rehashed sequels. It goes along the same story lines but ups the ante in various ways, making it enjoyable rather than tiresome (unlike Hangover 2, which wasn't amped enough). They both offer different Christmas feels such as at home versus abroad, and i like the message that Christmas can be felt anywhere.

On another note, i think i liked the pranks against the robbers in the second one better..
