Huge Plot Hole- Jerry Graf

All the times I've watched this movie I never thought of this. Jerry Graf has opened his own company doing the same thing. He knows where these stolen leads came from. He wouldn't be stupid enough to buy them. I'm no lawyer, but I'm sure he would know this would make him some kind of accessory to the crime. He knows these guys will roll over on anyone involved to save their asses.
Thoughts?

It's like 500 cards with names and contact info on them. A couple of determined people can just transcribe them in a matter of a few hours, and then burn the originals. At that point they're just names and contact info, not Mitch & Murray's precious leads.

You'd think they'd be able to figure out who stole them pretty easily when salesmen started contacting the people from the leads.

Unless the cards were the only record they had of the names and addresses. You'd think they would have some sort of list or database that they used to make the cards, though. Wait a while, contact the people on the list of leads and ask them if someone had tried selling them real estate during the last few months.
