Does the ending annoy anyone else?

Just found this film today on netflix and I quite enjoyed it, except in the end you don't see where they placed for the Olympics, are we to presume they win? They could have won, but then again the scoring could be biased or they could have been marked down/disqualified because of their new move (Torvil and Dean anyone?).

So yeah, did it annoy anyone else?

I kind of liked that they left some stuff to the imagination with that ending. I think of COURSE they won. Did you see the look on the judges's faces when they landed the Pamchenko (sp?)?

I think it goes without saying they won and that Doug and Kate find happiness together. I'm sure they would continue arguing a lot, because that's what they do, BUT I'm also sure they'd be much happier arguing together for life than otherwise.

Though not hearing the final scores or seeing the medal, it was obvious in my mind that from the swelling of the music, the flawless Pamchenko and the reactions of the judges, Kate's father and Anton during their skate that they won. The ending left me exuberant and very satisfied with the film although since I waited through the whole movie for their kiss, I would have liked it to be a little longer but that's life.

Whether they won the gold or not doesn't matter..they both won in the game of Love. The end.

Pretty sure it ends with an angry hockey player coming out and breaking their legs. As long as we're making up our own ending. Screw it.
