Your favourite moment in the film

Just wondering what peoples favourite moment/moments in the film are.

Personally for me it's when Lecter escapes his holding cell and impersonates the wounded police officer, and while in the back of the ambulance sits up and pulls his temporary disguise off when the music hits the big crescendo, that's when you know Lecters in control. Fantastic stuff

As you can probably tell i'm a new IMDb user.

I love most of all the scenes, of course, and especially all the ones everyone's mentioned here. I also appreciate the scene at Frederica Bimmel's house. It is especially sad because her dad is all alone and then her cat appears. Animals grieve for their losses too, and from what we see in Freddie's picture that Clarice examines, she loved her cat. It's a very sad scene, because we get a peek into Freddie's life.
Earlier, when Catherine Martin is abducted, we see that she has a cat as well. Cat is also the only witness to the crime. Later we see that Buffalo Bills has a dog. I just always thought that was interesting. 2 of his victims are cat ladies, that we know of.
Oh, and BTW, this is current streaming on Netflix, think I need to watch it now lol.

There are many of favourite scenes in this, but one that comes to mind is when Hannibal Lecter says to Senator Ruth Martin, "Oh Senator Martin, Just One More Thing." (She turns around). "Love The Suit."

So difficult to pick just ONE. I really like the scene between Lecter and Clarice where she's describing running away with a lamb.

The dialogue and acting are top notch. The way Foster and Hopkins are able to "swim" together so easily. Also, the way the camera is zoomed in on Hopkins' face with him just STARING right at both her and us. Not Even blinking, at that. Man, I loved that! To me, that scene is what clinched the Oscar win for BOTH of them.

"Thank you, Clarice...thank you."😜

*EDIT* : by saying "swim" together, I meant to say that their chemistry was great. Haha, I don't know why I didn't just say that to begin with.

It would have to be the whole scene where Lecter gets Clarice to tell him the story of the lambs. It was a very powerful, intense scene. And Lecter with that stare. Wow.

There were so many, but one that stood out, was the look on Clarice's face after she see's the moth, and realizes that she is with Buffalo Bill. Great acting from everyone in this terrific film.
