Your favourite moment in the film

Close to being a perfect movie

A favorite scene of mine is when Dr. Chilton is escorting Starling to Hannibal's cell the first time, when they become tinged in red by the light nearby as Chilton gets descriptive about why they enforce the rules that they do.

From time to time, I like to turn this movie on and just let it play while I do other things. The moment I am always sure to stop and pay attention to is when Starling and Lecter initially meet. Love the range of emotion and reactions to one another.

i liked buffalo bill scenes a lot and of course hannibal lecter scene in the cell when he murders the guards, although i felt a little sorry for them.

I love that scene

Mine would be every single time Hannibal Lector came on screen, it was bone chilling. What an actor, what a performance!

Only bit that bugged me about that scene is that I could somehow tell that was Anthony Hopkins straight away, so there was no surprise there for me. Also made me think the police were pretty damn stupid not to notice.

i don't really think i can narrow down to one favourite but i have a few.

the moment you mentioned is fantastic, i remember the first time i saw it, when Lector removed the skin from his face and the music kicked in, my mouth dropped.

the moment where the guards enter the holding room and find Boyle gutted and tied to the bars was pretty epic.

the steady shot single take through Buffalo Bill's basement while Catharine begs to be answered while Bill does some sewing sent chills down my spine.

Bill's make-up scene while Catharine tries to capture Precious i a pretty great scene.

when Clarice tells Lector about her story with the lamb, that was some pretty great stuff.

there are a ton of moments i love, it is one of my favourite movies

the way he says that and when chilton describes how hannibal ate that nurses face while maintaining an absolutely normal heart rate.
