THE BREAD SHOP SCENE:

Yeah, i liked the scene right after Richie and his goons are done being chased by Gino (Seagal). You know its right after Richie and his goons (or one of his goons) think they got away from Gino when Ginos car is blocked by a semi. When Richie and his goons realize that they didn't get away from Gino, Richie and his goons stop at that bread shop type place. Richie tells some guys in that bread shop place to kill Gino and Richie and some other goons escape out the back of the shop. Gino goes in the bread shop looking for Richie and is attacked by all those guys. He kicks all those guys @$$es of course and ONE OF THOSE GUYS HANDS IS STUCK TO THE WALL WITH A KNIFE THROUGH IT. ALL THE WHILE THAT GUY IS SCREAMING IN AGONY BECAUSE THERES A KNIFE RIGHT THROUGH HIS HAND, GINO KEEPS KICKING THOSE OTHER GUYS A$$E$. THAT SCENE IS CLASSIC!

Of course the scene at the end when the guy gets the bottom of his leg blown off by the shotgun is classic too.

Regarding the poor guy who gets his hand pinned to the wall with the cleaver... I love that completely gratuitous punch to the groin that Gino gives him immediately afterwards. Gino's not quite up there with Indiana Jones and James Bond in the Movie Hero Hall of Fame, is he?

And did you notice how in some shots that guy's holding his hand and screaming in pain, and in other shots he's just casually standing there looking around? I guess the director didn't pay much attention to him.

reply

When Richie's boys are talking about a rat in one of the boy's apartment.

lol, that part makes me crack up every time

somewhere on this planet, every ten seconds, a woman gives birth. she must be found and stopped.

reply

Surely you’d use your free hand to remove the cleaver? Instead the guy stands there splayed against the wall, screaming.

reply

yes that scene rocks I have never seen the hole movie but I have seen that scene it's so stupid

No, worse! Human! Human!

reply

"Shut up about the facking mouse!" And the Bar Scene are my favorites. Marked For Death is better imo.

reply

I'm glad somebody pointed out the meat cleaver through the hand then the cheap shot to the groin... But DON'T forget Richie taking a hit from the crack pipe (unedited pre-TBS) and then getting angry because the chick in the car in front of theirs is at a standstill, so when she asks him what his *beep* problem is... he pulls her from the car and shoots her in the FACE. Best Villain EVER.
(To Richie's Brother)
"Oh yea? Well your brother's a chickensh*t *beep* p*ssy a**hole!"
Don't think I haven't used that insult once or eighty times on someone before I clotheslined them.

"Love's eternal... and that's a long time."

reply

I agree with you, Thofry.

Blowing his lower leg off was the best *beep* part!

reply

anybody know why Richie did Bobby lupul.

reply

"What'd she say my man? What'd she say?"

reply

The funniest scene in the whole movie has to be the beating up of the bar with a rag, only people from the UK will understand that the scene where Seagal puts the pool ball in the hanky is actually cut out of the UK version (among a hell of a lot of other things) so it just looks like he's hitting people with a very, very hard hanky. Thank god I was able to get the US uncut dvd.

Next to the whole bar fight with Gino the end of the movie is my favorite

Detective Gino Felino NYPD: You, f(_)uck nuts!
Station Wagon Tough Guy: Hey, you talk to me?
Detective Gino Felino NYPD: Yeah, would you have to be the guy who threw a puppy out of the window of this car the other day?
Station Wagon Tough Guy: Hey, why's that your f(_)ckin' business anyway?
Detective Gino Felino NYPD: Cause I'm the animal lover.
Station Wagon Tough Guy: Animal lover, huh? Look, @sshole, if you won't mind your f(_)ckin' business I'll place you in the f(_)ckin' receptacle and toss you out of the f(_)ckin' window. How about that?
Detective Gino Felino NYPD: You're the tough guy, huh?
Station Wagon Tough Guy: Tough guy? I'll show you how f(_)ckin' tough guy I am.

Pimp: "Oh you a bad muthaf#*@ah huh?I know where you LIVE you stupid muthaf#*@ah! I will f#*k your wife and kill---"
*Gino grabs him and slams his head through a car window then throws him over some barrels*
Pimp: "GINO YOU SON OF A B*TCH!!!"
*Runs at Gino only to be back body dropped through the same car's windshield*

"SPARTANS!! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty. For TONIGHT, we dine in HELL!!"

reply

Richie came out of the bathroom with his own gun aimed at his head and said
"What ya gonna do, huh shoot me, I'm out of bullets".
Gino "That's a shame you know because those bullets could save you a lot of pain"
Richie "I like pain you know" and runs at Gino.
The fight that followed.... pure magic.
Stevens hands really are fast, aren't they? wow!! Richie didn't know what day of the week it was, but he still kept getting up smiling, coming back for more!
I guessed he really did like pain.

One of my most favourite Seagal.

Best Scenes,

Where he slaps the guy in the pool hall and pushes him into the phone booth.

When he hits the guy in the head with a salami

You got the balls? Yeah I got the balls? Now you got the bread.

''oh u took my leg, u took my *beep* leg oh! oh!''
some of my favorites:
''Yo, fu**nuts!'' at the end of the movie
''This here is a detective, narcotics is it? I want u all to be very cooperative and tell this big *beep* mammahook (spelling) everything he wants to know''-Vinne in the pool hall scene
''This is your trophy. This is your trophy! Come and get it, have 1 of your *beep* jadrules (spelling) come and get it''-Gino in the pool hall before the fight and shortly after ''Yo fu**face u wanna get by me? There's only 2 things stopping u, fear and common sense. and I'm gonna cut your *beep* head off!!''-Tatoo
''I want everyone against the wall *fires 2 shots in the ceiling*'' ''Are you totally *beep* nuts!? U coulda killed somebody upstairs!''''but there aint nobody upstairs!'' ''How do u know did u bust in the joint?'' ''I don't recall''-Gino and Vinnie in the pool hall
''Hey wtf do u think you're doing?'' ''Didn't I tell u to get the *beep* outta here?! *flips him over the railing*-Gino and that sunglassed bodyguard in the nightclub. and then the bodyguard's face as he's lying on the bottom of the stairs with the first bouncer. I love that scene, I constantly rewind and watch it and even watch the flip over the railing in slo-mo. I laugh everytime.
''Hang him up on a hook!!-Richie
''How about u Paulie? U got the *beep* balls!?''-Richie
hooker to Gino ''Wanna *beep* He laughs and asks 2 bums ''Did u hear what she said?'' and they go ''What'd she say my man? What'd she say?'' and 1 of the bums looks all messed up and google-eyed and Gino just drives away lol
and the list goes on..........

''Unless I'm wrong, which of course, I'm not''-Monk

I love when he knocks the guy into the old telephone booth when he's first in the bar then again after the fight starts up. It cracked me up.

My favorite scene is during the pool room fight, when just after Seagal takes out Sticks, some guy yells "Motherf--er!" and tries to kick Gino. Gino just punches the guy in the balls and used the half a pool cue in his hand to swat the guy's leg out from under him. The way it was portrayed as being so effortless on Gino's part made the scene great.
