shareDefinitely Seagal's best. There's a lot of reasoning and history behind
the film which makes it more personal and character driven.
"Yo *beep*
i absolutely love this film!!!
this film for me, though it was great fun, ...actually strikes a very real chord with people and circumstances in my home town. Im not saying the films event happened in my home town ...its just that characters like the nutcase criminal 'Richie' can be found in town like mine ...and no doubt in many more urban habitats around the world.
I think Out for Justice has a great story ...and the film flows excellently!
I'm definitely a huge fan of this movie, so here's my post. When I saw this as a kid (let's see...1991...I was 16), it was great because of all the action and cursing. Now when I watch it, not only does it have all the violence and fighting, but it's funny as hell! "Mutha ------ you knocked my teeth out!" Classic.
It's just too bad the DVD sucks. Maybe someday a distributor will give it better treatment; I can EASILY see it being appreciated as a great B-movie in the years to come, the same way those 1960s drive-in ultra-low-budget movies are revered these days.

"But they were IN the well."
"Yes they were. Well in."
I love this film too. So many great one-liners and fight scenes. But that bar fight with Seagal is priceless. "Anybody seen Ritchie? I'm gonna keep coming back until someone remembers seeing Ritchie" hahaha. Seagal is awesome.
shareFor the longest time I thought this movie had the best bar fight, then I saw "On Deadly Ground" and it's bar fight out did this one! But I agree with most on here that "Out for Justice" was his best.
shareSeagal has made some really great films, no doubt but this one to me is by far my fav, 10/10. Comedy, violence, actions and practicly no mushy scenes. I especially liked the villianous role played by William Forsythe, even though 'Richie' is obviously out of his head you can't help but like him. When he shot the cripple or when he pulled the woman out of the car window and shot her in head a point blank range, all that went through my head was 'cool'.
shareim a fan!
shareI just love it. I stick it on most days in the background while I'm at my pc and it drives my wife frikin wild. I love everything about it - from the opening kick the krap out of the pimp scene 'i know where you live muthafka', the pool hall/bar scene 'you knocked my frikin teeth out', the butchers shop (how masterful is whippin the cleaver out the blokes leg to stick the thugs hand to the wall', the way over the top language throughout, the kick-ass music...everything, just everything...brilliant! I sit down to watch a Seagal movie most Thursday nights (drives the wife wild)...yep, Thursday night is 'Seagal Night' in our household...and let me just tell you - Out or Justice is the most played of the lot! Brilliant - just Brilliant...oh and answer me one question... 'Have you got the frikin bawls?'
shareYou got the balls, anyone here got the balls? Huh, how 'bout you thickasyourwrist, you got the *beep* balls? Now you got the bread!
Classic!
Lovely accent you have there, New Jersey?
I am with you on this, it is Steven's best Movie of all time. I love the Violence, i love how he kicks ass, i love the humor its all here and i would KILL for a move like this again today. But noo, i can't have that, i get BS stuff like Will Smith and that Queen Fat or that idiot who was on the new kids on the block. I can't decode that crap, sorry people. But this is one for the books, it has it all, great lines, great kick as@, great everything. "Hey where is Richie???" Man i LOVE this movie!!!!!!!!
