He's looking at empty pages!
I don't get the police sketch artist-thing, where the old policeman is looking at the different pictures.
Those are shown just fine for the camera, but think about what he's actually watching if he turns the pages so that camera can see them perfectly.
He is looking at the empty sides of those pages! What gives? Why does he pretend to see something, when he obviously can't?
(Unless the paper is so thin he can see through it)
Is this ever explained anywhere?
