Did you cry?
during Harry telling Vada or during the scene of thomas j's funeral?
shareI hadn't seen this movie in quite some time. When I was younger. I thought it was sad, yes, but I didn't cry. However, just watched it as I had the movie but hadn't seen it for awhile. Damn. I was bawling my eyes out. No single tear either. I was a blubbering wreck during the funeral scene. I just lost it. Great movie!
shareYes,I definitely cried
shareI honestly feel like it is so depressing it should not even be a movie. That's how sad it is. Should have been a bubble boy I guess.
shareI started crying when the cop told Vada's dad what happened, and through the funeral, and through her visit with Mr. Bixler. Started again when she read her poem in class. Stopped when Vada and her friend rode away on their bikes.
shareI cry when she reads the poem out at the end.
shareCried harder the second time, from Harry receiving the news of Thomas J's death right to her poem.
