WHAT'S THE TERM??????????

I HEARD A TERM ONCE THAT DESCRIBED THIS PHENOMENON OF CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT EVENTUALLY COMES FULL CIRCLE. SEEMS LIKE IT MIGHT OF HAD A "C" IN IT OR IT COULD HAVE BEEN FRENCH. I DON'T KNOW BUT IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY. NOW AFTER SEEING "CRASH" IT'S REALLY BUGGING ME. DOES ANYBODY KNOW????

"What goes around Comes (there's a c) around." Or, as Malcolm X would say, "a Case of "Chickens Coming home to roost" (There are some more c's for good measure). Heh heh.

concatenation

Concatenation. Now there's an interesting word. Of oourse the new computer technical scienctific jargon has picked up on it, but for the life of me I'd never heard the word used either in writing or conversation. I'd be curious to know when the word would be used in exclusion of others as the best way to describe a situation it's so non specific. But thanks for putting it out there. I'll concatenate it with other ubiquitous and amorphous abstractions and save it for a rainy day. Sufferin' succotash.

reply

I have used it since the 1980s.

The only "c" word that comes to mind with this film is, "Crap." Is that it?
