Tom Waits

Waits has one of my favorite cameo's ever. I know it's brief and I know it's by no means Shakespeare, but it's still a personal favorite. Does anyone know of anything else he's been in?

he is also a main character in the movie Down By Law (also contributing a few songs to the soundtrack...hes one of my favorite musicians) which he is fabulous in. Good movie, alittle slow moving and strange but if you like fisher king then you probably aren't bothered by movies that aren't exactly mainstream, he is a damn good actor and i wish he'd get more main character roles

Didn't he also do another uncredited bit in Jarmusch's "Candy Mountain?" He's such a natural; I wish he'd do more.

he's not in dead man which is a surprise, he would have fit in beautifully in that film. He's not in Night on Earth either but he did all the music.

IMDBs listing to see what else he was in.

He's great in the Robert Altman film "Short Cuts," which is a film interpretation of many of Raymond Carver's short stories. Waits is in it and he's awesome, as is the entire movie.

You should see Mystery Men. He has a pretty important supporting role and he's hilarious (like everyone else in that movie.)

you can hear Tom Waits' voice in Shrek 2 as captain hook. the second time you see captain hook he is singing with the voice of Nick Cave

He has a uncredited part as a cop in The Two Jakes

He also has a great cameo in Rumble Fish. And a funny scene in Coffee and Cigarettes.

Where was Tom Waits in this movie? It lists him as the "Disabled Veteren"... can anybody remind me where that was?

He was also skin-crawlingly great as the burned-out drunk Rudy in Ironweed.
