I think this movie is one of the underrated films of all-time, if not the most.
it's wonderfully written and acted...great great flick...albert brooks is the man.

Absolutely one of my favorite all time movies. I remember exactly where I was when I saw it and I actually saw it when it was in the theater. It is definitely underated and / or underappreciated. It's good to know there are others out there who appreciate this movie.

I agree that it's underrated, at least in that it's not "rated" at all. Seriously, this movie is virtually NEVER mentioned, which is a shame, since it's a wonderfully charming little film.

It's not unpopular. Unpopular means people have seen it and disliked it. It just hasn't seen enough audience yet. Nowhere near. If Encore didn't rerun it I never would've seen it.

Weird Ive seen it like 3 or 4 times but i cant remember where?
BUT I AGREE ITS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FILMS!! BRILLIANT.

people only like this movie because it reaffirms their belief in some fantasyland that you go to after you're dead.

cmon folks, there is no santa claus and the city you visit after youre dead has a population of 0....unless you count the maggots.

It strikes a chord absolutley. I think it reminds people that they are basically afaid and missing out on a lot of life because of it.

I'll bet tons of people have seen this movie - just never twice ;)

I love it and not just because Brooks and I have the same birthday ;)

This is about as charming as films get. If the afterlife really is judging a soul's life for mistakes to see if it's ready to stay or move on, then I'll be well-represented in Earth's future.
