Just watched this movie for the first time

Yeah, I know. Great movie, but what really caught me off-guard was Ice Cube's performance. He blew Cuba Gooding off the screen, and was at least as good as Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett (although unfortunately we don't get to see him and Fishburne in a scene together). I probably need to watch this again because I was concentrating so much on Doughboy that I'm sure I missed a great deal.

Eat a sandwich. Drink a glass of milk. Do some fvcking thing!

Ice cube was realistic in this because he used to be a thug who ran around smoking crack, shooting people and beating women. He was a natural for the part, playing a psycho who hated white people with a passion. All this movie is about is a bunch of lazy idiots who want to create a conspiracy that white people are holding them back when the facts are that they are killing each other yet blame the white man. The movie is terrible.

LOL. Ice cube has never been a "thug" or a "gangsta". While it might have been beneficial to his musical career to make it seem so, he actually had a pretty good upbringing, and went straight from education to a music career. But nice comfortable backgrounds dont sell rap records as well as the " thug life", so that's the perspective he chose to write from.

Cube is from the hood. Raised there lived there. No he didn't sell drugs and do dirt in the streets, but he rapped and acted what he grew up around and saw. He definitely didnt come from a nice comfortable background

A stable home life, both parents in work. As a teen his folks took him out of the local school and sent him out to a school in San Fernando, sounds pretty comfortable to me. And certainly nothing like the description presented by the O.P. I'm not saying he hasn't witnessed crime & violence, but who hasn't?

You're stupid

You need to watch the movie again as you clearly weren't paying any attention. The movie focuses on intra-racial violence in the American inner-city where black males, kill black males. You must have missed or simply didn't appreciate the sobering statistical dedication at the start of the movie regarding black male mortality rates.🐭

Don't waste your time trying to reason with that idiot. He watches ' Storage Wars '.

Ironically, there is a deleted scene with Cube and Fishburne, and that scene addressed the other side of Furious's conspiracy theory. Furious tries to stop Doughboy from going out and getting revenge. Furious says, "That?s just what they want you to do." Doughboy replies, "Who the *beep* is they?"

" The movie is terrible ".

It's hard to believe that you actually beat out a million other sperm.

Lawrence Fishbure stole the show, in my opinion.
