How would Ricky and Doughboy's mother have felt if Doughboy ended up getting killed instead of Ricky?
I always wondered how the mother would react if Doughboy ended up getting killed and Ricky would have lived to see college and beyond?
I've absolutely hated the scene where their mother gets angry and furious towards Doughboy when he was trying to comfort them after Ricky got murdered.

The way her character treated Doughboy, I doubt she would have cared too much. She may have mourned him for a second, but that's about it. I'm sure you seen the favoritism of Ricky over Doughboy, which I believe was in part due to their respective fathers. I would have loved to see her reaction to Doughboy dying two weeks later.
shareShe expected Doughboy to get killed on the street, so her reaction would've been very different, she seemed to resent Doughboy, probably because her relationship with his father was a bad experience, and he was a constant reminder, so she would've gotten over his death real quick
