The Kimi Era (2001-2004) Is The ONLY WATCHABLE Era Of Rugrats.

I can't watch any of the old episodes from 1991-2000 and the only they have going for them is nostalgia and THAT'S IT. The episodes that came out before Kimi joined the show are so incredibly dated and childish, you have to be seriously blinded by nostalgia to think pre-Kimi Rugrats is a good show.

Even Nickelodeon's Doug holds up MUCH BETTER to adult eyes than the original Rugrats episodes. And the 1997-2000 Era was EVEN WORSE Than The 1991-1994.

Also, All Grown Up Was A GREAT spin-off and got WAY TOO MUCH HATE for being...you know.. actually good.

I disagree. I watched it for the first time in years this past year and when I got to the later part that ties into the movie and has Dil in it, I couldn't stand it and did not find it funny. I also dislike All Grown up. The thing that made this show funny in the earliest seasons is that it was about a bunch of babies thinking untrue things were true because they are babies and don't understand things well. Having them all be grade school kids takes away that charm.

But I happened to enjoy "All Grown Up" almost as much as I enjoyed "Rugrats".
It is true that it didn't really have a unique gimmick beyond being "Rugrats" ten years into the future.
However, it worked as what it mainly was: a slice of life cartoon about a group of pre-teens.
And that is what it was clearly meant to be.

Are you kidding me? I can't think of a single good episode of the show after Kimmy came in.

I disagree, but if you like the later episodes, that’s great. I’m in the minority of people who think Nick’s Doug isn’t as good as Disney’s. All Grown up was pretty good, but spin-offs generally aren’t very well liked compared to the original.

Yeah, I don't really get why Disney's version of "Doug" is as disliked as it is.

To me I find the 1991-94 episodes to be the only great era of Rugrats, I thought the episodes from 1992-94 were a little better than the 1991 episodes.
