I think this would have worked better as a mini series.
The Rocky movies were like "events" in those days and this doesn't feel like an event movie. It feels like TV show material.
shareYeah, there are parts in the movie that feel as if they were made to lead into a commercial break. For example, the scene where Rocky walks his son home after making amends with him and the scene when Rocky asks Tommy if he is hungry. Also the cinematography seems more made-for-TV than theatrical. Elements like these make seem more like a TV show than a movie.
