what makes this movie awesome, is the lack of all of those i've listed.

Harry would be an environmentalist.
Nora would still be white, push the inter racial angle.
Harry, like most kids now would be 100% PC and a part of the system but still swears he fights against the system all the same.
The movie would suck.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.

It would probably be on an illegal podcast or a hacked I Heart Radio stream, the protagonist would be a transman or transwoman POC who would speak out against the evils of the cisgender white male patriarchy.

Debatable. Mainstream movies today are explicit in their sexual references, but seem more shy about actually showing nudity. It still wouldn't be hard for a remake to up the nudity as this one doesn't have ANY, but keep in mind, there are several references to cock-rings and the like...
