Keaton Is A Great Villain

Michael Keaton is one of my favorite actors. He is very unique and very funny. In this, he plays a psychopath. He is awesome. This is one of his best performances even though the movie itself was mediocre. Check this out when you get a chance.

Loved Michael Keaton in this. Saw it soon after the movie originally came out and now it's on cable. My initial experience with Keaton up until this movie was Nightshift, Mr Mom & Beetlejuice (altho I didn't know that was him for an embarrassingly long time) - loved his comedic side in those and was astonished to see how well he plays a villain. I'll admit when I remember this movie - it's 'Micheal Keaton' was in it - and the other actors were, hum, uhm... well it's a really good movie.

Michael stole the movie without even knowing it.

Upon re-watching, also enjoying all the character actors of that time period, notably - Laurie Metcalf (attorney) & Tracey Walter (as the bug man)give the movie additional depth and some humorous moments. Also about to check out who Keaton's roommate was, looks familiar, but can't place him.

Michael Keaton is awesome. I love him. And he plays a villian so well. He is such an underrated and under used actor. He was so good in Clean and Sober.

Keaton in Pacific Heights, along with Rob Low in Bad Influence, are two of the best bad-guy performances by actors who usually play good-guys.

Keaton also played a very convincing serial killer in DESPERATE MEASURES.

Keaton was perfect in this. I never thought I could hate Batman so much. :)

As for the movie, it's ridiculous but watchable.

I know this is an old thread but I watched this movie for the first time since it came out and although it's a little dated and very 1990-feeling, it's better than I expected after all that time.

The biggest surprise is just how great Keaton is as a villain. It really shows what a great actor he is because he's Michael Keaton after all, right away you trust him usually because those are the roles he's played.
