Is This One Of The WORST Segal Movies Ever?

My Parents are from Jamaica, so what occurred there was just so stupid!
At first I felt the movie was o.k.,up until the ambush screwface set up at night, when the trucks crushed the roof & frame of the car segal was in. At this point Segal was a crispy critter. O.K., let's suspend disbelief, and he escapes. next he and his buddies hide a stash of weapons in camera equipment and transport it into Jamaica, anyone who has been to jamaica knows that post 9/11 U.S. airports have NOTHING on Jamaica's airports. They TEAR everything apart when it comes off the plane. Secondly, there is NO WAY that Segal is just going to waltz into "country" unseen, and hang out in a local bar and NOT stick out like a sore thumb, forget some "jilted" woman helping him out with inside info on Screwface without word getting back to him or retribution. se habla ambush #2?
Segal's trio going on a trek through the countyside unnoticed? That's like breaking into someone's home and having home field advantage. Oh, wait that's the next scene. There's so much more, like the swordfight (cutting a track into the ground, because ther is no way that sword was going to swing around and cut Screwface in the crotch), and the fight afterwards back in the U.S. (like nobody knew he was coming? where's ambush #3?) This movie is just disappointing on so many levels it was fustrating, considering I liked Under Siege & his first movie.

This is a classic early nineties action fick. You want to see Seagal's worst, rent 'Kill Swith.' Now THAT is a piece of *beep*

How dare you! Kill Switch is NOT Seagal's WORST!!! That title is held by Attack Force. You could even say The Foreigner or Black Dawn. Kill Switch has a lot of Smokin HOT chicks!!!

At least AF and BD had halfway decent editing.

Although, you might be right about 'The Foreigner;' I never bothered comparing the two.

This is NOT one of the worse movies by Seagal- not by far. He's made plenty that stunk more that this one. Actually, not Seagal's standards this is due an Oscar.

When you consider "Fire Down Below". "On Deadly Ground" and the dozens of other straight to DVD titles he's released this one (Marked For Death) is actually a pretty decent movie. Yeah he comes across as Superman but not nearly as ridiculous as he did in later movies.

This was one of his best, and almost completely because of Basil.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings.

His best film in my opinion,and i've seen them all. He's at his peak here,before he let his weight spiral. Screwface must be one of the best villains in any film. Steven's ass kicking,especially before he goes to Jamaica is exceptional. The fight in the mall is brilliant,pure enjoyable violence! At least we know he's the real deal unlike a fake like Van Damme.

You people must be on some strong stuff if you think this pile of garbage was good ?

This was a TERRIBLE film from Seagal's early years.

The screenplay was poor
The direction was weak
The pacing was off
The editing was amateurish
The music was *beep*
No character development (couldn't care less about anyone)
Annoying and stupid voodoo nonsense
Stupid and mindless villains
Dumb action scenes

Seagal looks bored in this film ans simply sleepwalks through it.

A terribly poor production from Seagals early years where he actually appeared in many good films.

This film was seriously lacking a talented director like Andrew Davis.

I consider Marked for Death the worst of the first 4 films of Seagal's career, and I hate it. The other three are addicting to watch.

Actually its one of his best, especially when you watch it after going through his more recent movies. I had forgotten just how good Seagal could be till I rewatched this. In his recent movies he's like a bad parody of his earlier self.
