1 season in
And so far, I don't get the appeal
shareSkip to Season 4 or 5. I love Seinfeld. Think it’s probably the best comedy show ever written, but I can’t watch the first couple seasons. It’s not a show that you have to see in proper order, so do yourself a favor and skip ahead.
Season 4 it starts to find its footing. Season 5 on it’s the best show ever.
I'll stick with it.. Maybe but I have to watch it all if I do
CYE is in my top 20 for sure though
That’s your call. Just don’t write off the show because of early seasons. Even Seinfeld says thank god the studio let him & Larry David stick around long enough (first few seasons) to find they’re voice.
shareIt picks up season 2. Season 3 onwards, that's where all the classic episodes begin.
shareThe first 2 seasons are unwatchable, it's like an entirely different show from season 3 onward.
shareThe Pony remark episode from season 2 is a classic. First two seasons are not unwatchable, but they're not as fast paced and whacky.
sharethe first 2 are bad, it really gets good by season 4.
shareSeason 1 and 2 aren’t very good
Season 3 is ok, season 4 is good.
Season 5 - 8 just gets better.
Season 9 tails off.
Every season is good, only the final episode sucks.
shareDon't worry about it if you don't like it. Every show is not for everybody. I watched the first episode of "Game of Thrones" and never watched it again. I couldn't have cared less, yet it seems everyone else on the planet was obsessed.
shareIt's very much like early Simpsons. The first season is watchable but very rough and still establishing itself. Season 2 is an improvement with clear signs of what the show would become and by season 3 they have a handle on what the show needed to be.
shareI get irritated by the stand up bits by Jerry that depict people(Mostly women) laughing hysterically at his mediocre jokes. Glad they dialed that down as the show went on.
