Still the God King of sitcoms
Nary a day goes by that I don't find at least three Seinfeld references in real life.

shareI always hated this show. Found it lame. Full of laugh tracks. Void of fun or laughter.
Just another Hollywood prick is Jerry.
I doubt it's even as popular as Full House.
lol...
It flopped in Syndication. Even Hulu said fuck you to it.
It's shows a few times on TBS.
Does Netflix have it now?
I thought it did.
i saw a few episodes recently and they are still fresh af.
shareLaugh track?
shareDoesn't bother me any, nor does it keep the material from being as fresh as ever. The Honeymooners is in black-and-white, but that doesn't stop it from being a great show.
Also, this might be splitting hairs, but Seinfeld had a live audience. It's not a laugh track. For me there's a difference between a show dropping in canned laughs and just having a live audience.
it was filmed (in majority) in front of a live studio audience.
you can hear them go mental in later seasons when Kramer enters the apartment..
a lot of the themes are, still, relevant today.
that's what the OP and I are saying..
Forget sitcoms, it's one of the best shows of all-time period. It's really funny and, yeah, as you say it still shows up in real life all the time. Some things never change, and human nature - lampooned so well in Seinfeld - is one of them.
sharelol. it sucks.
it flopped.
laughtrack non-stop.
We're in disagreement over "sucks", but flopped? It flopped? You think one of the highest-rated shows of all-time flopped?
