PARENTHOOD is a personal favorite, and I am single, with no family.
What are some other really great to watch films about family. GOOD ONES, positive, interesting ones, not depressing things like MARRIAGE STORY.

The first thing which comes to mind is the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase, but they are more of a comedy.
However Steve Martin also starred in Cheaper By the Dozen (2003) where he plays a dad to 12 kids.

The Addams Family (1991). No joke, I love that this is a story about a family where each family member accepts their own failings and idiosyncrasies and those of their family members, in fact they embrace their weird. The husband and wife are still passionately in love, the kids are almost always hanging out together, and they all like spending time with each other and their distant relatives, they even party together.
