Fav scene

Clark's pool fantasy

reply

I agree for the obvious reasons, but i also like the scene directly after with clark and ruby, its very funny and sweet.

the dinner table scene. turkey implode then cat get fried and tree blow up hahahah.

That turkey was one of the best props I've ever seen in a movie.

Speaking of the cat, it's clear Cousin Eddie has the most quotable lines in a film full of them and maybe top ten of all time. With the cat, he got a two-fer..

"What's that smell!"
Eddie: "smells like fried pussycat"

and

"If that cat had nine live she just spent 'em all"

CLARK LOCKED IN THE ATTIC WATCHING OLD HOME MOVIES.

reply

watching this now he should have fell right down on his wife

THAT SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING THEY MAY HAVE CUT...I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ACTUALLY FILMED IT OR NOT...BUT IT SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY BLATANT SCENE CAPPER.

I'd question why there wasn't a way to get that Ladder back down from the attic & why he choose to sit on the stair drop

Spring latch. Had to be opened by pulling the cord.

From the outside. My parents house had one because they had a whole house fan that would push the scuttle stairs down when the turned the fan on.
