Is this movie popular outside of America?

In America Christmas Vacation is kind of the quintessential Christmas movie and is ubiquitous throughout the month of December. I was wondering if it shares that same level of popularity in other countries. If not, is there another Christmas movie in your country that's on that same level?

On Christmas Day, you have the Double Header of DIE HARD followed by National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

It traditionally comes on prime TV here in Sweden, although in the most recent years, it's been moved to one of the pay cable channels or they even decided to swap it for the original. They will show it twice on prime TV this year, first on Dec 20 and on Dec 24.
