As I belated said to DonLogan above thank god for another MANHUNTER fan - I love TOM NOONAN as the psycho!!!

Have you ever seen a movie called FUN - Alicia Witt is in it - I think it's early nineties - they get bored, bunk off school and go and kill an old lady - these two young teenage girls!!! and then the film goes into b/w when they get caught and the acting is mesmerising - if I remember rightly!

So many great movies to choose from! Here's my list...for now.

-Blade Runner (easily one of the best sci-fi movie ever made)
-The Shining (another no-brainer: one of the best horror movies of all time)
-Raging Bull (possibly Scorsese's best movie...and one of the best dramas of the eighties for sure, aside from being one of the best sports movie ever made)
-Scarface (a landmark in gangster movies, and one of Pacino's best performance)
-John Carpenter's The Thing (easily one of the best, most genuinely scary and effective horror movie of the eighties)
-Star Wars 6: Return of The Jedi (Empire might be a better movie overall, but this one has always been my favorite of all Star Wars movies)
-Hoosiers (another great sports movie, with a genuinely touching script, and very convincing performances)
-Raiders of the Lost Ark (one of the best adventure movie of all times)
-Clean and Sober (one of the greatest, most powerful movie ever made about addiction, with a devastating peformance by Michael Keaton)
-Platoon (one of the best war movies ever made, and one of Stone's best movies for sure)
