So who's your fave character and why?
Mine is Jimmy, to be honest, I felt like he got the best episodes and was such a strong interesting character. Not to mention the part was so well acted by Josh Brolin.
I'm not a well adjusted person, I just play one on the net.
Hickok, Cody, and Ike. They're sexy. =)

shareMy favorite character are Ike, Jimmy, Cody and Buck. I didn't like the Kid, he was so annoyed, he think he know everything. Lou is okay. Franklin is okay, Jesse and Rachel are okay. I like Sam and Emma better then Rachel. I like Teaspoon, I think he does better with the Pony express then he does the sheriff.
shareI was a huge Kid/Lou shipper and just liked both characters generally, so those two come first, naturally. Course, being perverse, I was a sneaky Jimmy/Lou shipper too, so I loved when they put them together. I think I was just a little less invested in that ship though because I knew it could never work out. So Jimmy would be third. Buck would come in fourth, probably. Sam, Emma and Noah collectively next. And Cody and Ike after that. I never really got to like Rachel as much as I did Emma and really missed Emma and Sam after S1. And of course Teaspoon would have to be near the top of the list, too.
I like Ike. He is so cute.

Hmmm...tough choice. I loved all the characters pretty much equally. But I'm going to pick Cody. I feel bad for him since no one's picked him yet :( And I do so love his attitide. He kinda reminds me of myself. He tends to be a bit happy-go-lucky and is also a bit if a wise-a$$. That describes me too. I love his humor and how he almost always brings a smile to people's faces. I do wish though that they had given us more background about his character. I think he tended to be a bit ignored in terms of storylines which is sad because he was such a great character. He was also the cutest one, IMHO...but then again, they were all cute :D
shareIke! He was adorable and I always like the underdog. Also, watching it years laterfor the first time, I realize he's damn cute as well! Why did they have to kill him off? Couldn't they have just had him fall in love, get married and leave the Pony Express? So sad!
shareLou was my favorite character, closely followed by Kid. I love Lou because she was tough, gritty and could hold her own with the boys, but at the same time she was a girly girl. I think there's more of this evident in Season 1 (talking with Jimmy about what to buy Sara, giving the ring to Ike that she had incase she and Kid ever got together). Season 2 and 3 show this a little bit (sewing with Daisy, getting dressed up for the nights out on the town with Jimmy and Kid). I'm a lot like her in that sense.
Kid was a great character too because he was the moral concience of the show. I think he really does a great job of showing how people from the south both believed in the "Cause" but not in slavery.
Plus when you put these two characters together it made for some great shows.

Loved Lou, Loved Kid and adored them together. When they got married at the end of the show, I was the happiest little thing. I know it's silly but I loved how Lou was willing to go through hard-ships for this job and how Kid was there, with her, helping her out with her secret. Their relationship really moved me, because I wanted to be able to do whatever I wished to, even if it wasn't socially accepted for a girl, and I wanted someone who'd support me that way.
Lou and Kid all the way. *cough* You know, in case that was somehow not obvious from the rest of this post.

my favorite character back in the day when i was 15 was kid. but i have grown older and wiser and now i love buck. i can relate to his struggle to fit in and having his indian family except for red bear not accept him. also how the towns folk treated him. i went through a lot of that in my life because of an illness. i was tormented by my peers as a child. my family stopped coming around to see me and my mom and as an adult i am still ill and have a hard time fitting in. buck handled all that with such grace. ooh and boy is he HOT!!! love his long hair and his crooked smile and the arched eyebrow. he can be my leading man any day. so my favorite is buck. ;)

I was two when young riders came out so I didn't see it back then. My friend bought season one and talked it all up and so I decided to watch it. I loved it I can not wait to see season two and three. My favorite character has to be Kid. Then it would have to be Lou, Jimmy and Ike. Kid and Lou are so good together.
shareJimmy, His character was perfectly portrayed by Josh Brolin who matched as the hottest cowboy ever! But his character had an interesting past and an unknown future. He held a lot of mystery. So I think if the show was still on that they could have gone in so many differnt directions with Jimmy.
shareHave to agree about it being Jimmy. He definitely did hold alot of mystery. You just wanted to get him to open up and share whatever was inside of him w/you. And they definitely chose the perfect guy in Josh Brolin to play him!!!

sharePoor Cody. He just don't get no lovin' *pout* No one but me seems to list Cody as their favorite Young Rider. I just loved his happy-go-lucky, wise-a$$ attitude. Yes, he was a smart aleck but he was so sweet underneath. I really wish that they had developed his character more than they did. He was a truly great character but he was often over-looked by the writers. And Stephen Baldwin played the character so well too. And of course, he ain't hard on the eyes neither, but then again none of the Baldwin brothers are ;)

Number one favorite character was Lou. I'm a girl, she was a girl living with a bunch of hot men....couldn't help identifying with and wanting to be her. My favorite GUY character though was Cody. He's gorgeous and always made me laugh.
