Love the dog!

The dog was the highlight of the film for me! What a goofy-looking cutie, with the perfect patchwork spots around the eye and back.

Any idea what breed or breeds that was? I'm thinking mongrel with some American bulldog influence.

I recall the main character saying to the injured dog that he'll be back for him and then we never saw it again.

I was hoping it'd turn up and somehow help save the day at the end.
