I just watched the movie. I personally think It's a good movie. However, I found this mistake so dumb.
The guy walked to get gas and left his gf alone in middle of the tunnel but forgot there were two bicyles on top of their dead car
He was pissed off at his wife, and wanted to get the hell out of the tunnel before they got slammed by a transport truck..in other words he wasnt thinking (we all do it)
shareHe was in too much of a rush to be bothered to unlock a bike from the roof and remove it, let alone search for a flashlight in the backseat. He was in a rush to get out of the tunnel, not so much to get the gas.

I also didn't understand the logistics of how he walked back to find the wife missing from their car, yet the two never crossed paths on his way back from the gas station and then somehow he finds her standing at the end of the tunnel??? HUH?
