This film is atrocious

This is quite possibly the worst movie ever. The only competition would be Friday the 13th. Not only is the plot mildly retarded, but the characters and actors in the movie show attributes that are comparable to my 9 year old cousin with down synndrome. A biking accent in the middle of an isolated farm is horribly pathetic. Not only would an accident this severe not even cause any permanent damage, it sure as hell wouldn't kill the person. From the death of his son, some random backward ass redneck summons some crazy ass demon with wings that looks like a burnt muppet from space with a huge head.

Anyone who finds this movie frightening should be sterilized.

However... on the comedy side, we are rating this movie a 10.

Man, I'm so sick of these "the worst movie ever posts". The movie was not for you, move on! Sure, it's flawed, but I still gave it a 10 rating. Do you know why? Because I love it, and the flaws doesn't take anything away from that. It is a haunting and even heartbreaking horror tale with a great lead performance by Lance Henriksen, and some chilling creature effects that still hold up pretty well today. The story is also pretty cool in my opinion, maybe not mindblowing, but it's as good as anything else in the genre. To me "Pumpkinhead" is a classic from a decade of many fine horror films. I don't know what kind of movies you like, I like everything from westerns to small indie dramas, but,I can walk away from a film I didn't care for without thinking I just watched the worst film in movie history. Just because something didn't click with me, doesn't make it a horrible film. Still, some films are just plain bad, but "Pumpkinhead" isn't one of em'. It's a heartfelt and pretty original piece of genre filmmaking. You dind't like it, fine. But don't try to keep others from watching something they might enjoy.

You must have had a pretty empty experience with films up to now, especially if you haven't been able to grasp the concept of dissension of disbelief yet? You must be one of those ultra serious, anal, pent-up geek types who treats every movie like a form of essay, to be scrutinously analyses and dissected, you obviously aren't able to enjoy a film if you spend the entire time searching for any remnants of continuity error or plot hole.

It's a form of entertainment and should be experienced as such. People don't usually watch films for logical answers and normality, they watch for escapism.
Please try to understand this and humble yourself accordingly before posting again.

Say what you will about it, but back around 2003 I discovered this movie and I have loved it since! It's a perfect horror movie. Yeah the acting isn't that great but it makes up for it in other ways. I love this movie!

I know I was born gay because my first sentence was, 'Get those boobs outta my face!'

LOL! The movie sucked. You people going insane with rage over OP's post is wayyyy better then the movie. I just finished watching Pumpkinhead and it was terrible. I had to fast forward to the last 5 minutes to see how it ended I couldn't stand watching another minute of it after the 2nd kill.

You people going ape *beep* was way WAY more entertaining the the movie could ever hope to be.

The movie was bad and you all should feel bad for getting so upset and angry over OP's post. Pathetic. Both the movie and your responses.
