Did ya notice...(little fun things)..

One of my fav movies ever...

And with most movies, its the little things, that you may not notice until a 2nd or 3rd viewing...
Heres a couple I noticed....... anyone else have any?..

--In the opening scenes, when DeNiro is chasing the bad guy, they run down an alley, across the street is a little mexican restaurant. Google that restaurant, El Guanaco 2015 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, look at it on Google Street View... its exactly the same!.. 22 years later..

--When Walsh goes to pick up his money from Eddie at the bail bonds, it seems that Joe P(Eddie) may have improvised a bit, as DeNiro starts to say his line a couple times, and laughs a little in reaction to what Eddie was saying. Maybe it was how he was saying it..

--When they are on the plane and the pilot comes down to see whats going on, and says "You cant take a prisoner aboard an airplane, you should know that"... watch the flight attendant behind him, looks like she is trying to keep in a laugh throughout the scene..

--When Moron #'s 1 & 2 are waiting by the helicopters, the guy tries on a hat, and tells Tony to look at him. Watch Tony, he cracks up, drops his head to stifle a laugh...

Y'all missed a pretty cool one I just picked up. When Jack needs to pay cash (over $200) for the two bus tickets after the lady tells him his credit card has been cancelled, he counts out a little over $100 from his own pockets, then asks the Duke "Do you have any money on you?" The Duke, with a little smirk, replies "A lot." Jack then reaches into the Duke's pockets, takes out a few bills and says, "This is what you call a lot of money? Well it's enough to get you to where I need to get you?"

So subtle, but so telling, since the Duke actually has "In the neighborhood of $300,000" wrapped around his belt, as he would later reveal to Jack as he hands him the gift.

This movie is seriously close to perfect.

I love that, Gtizzle, that subtle hint that's impossible to pick up until a repeat viewing.

Later, while Jack and The Duke are on foot in the desert, starving, The Duke hints at this again, describing a meal he loves and mumbles that he "has enough money to..." just before Jack tells him to shut up. XD

Yes, there's always something cool about those things that you can only pick up after seeing it multiple times.

I believe my favorite movie of all time for that sorta thang was "Back to the Future". Like the camera following the Marty's kicked skateboard which is stopped only be a box under Doc's bed labeled "plutonium".

Near the end when Jack walks into that diner for coffee after Marvin steals the Duke. He turns his head as we (the audience) see seven Feds six feet away. So Jack didn't see them until WE do? Agent Foster Grant.

After watching this movie countless times, I just noticed this funny little moment recently. During the scene in Red's Corner Bar when the Duke says "Would you describe exactly what the last man who passed a twenty dollar bill to you looked like," watch the actor playing the bar patron sitting next to the Duke carefully. He after drinking his beer, he dips his head down and tries to prevent laughing.

Besides the aforementioned $1000 notes that feature Grover Cleveland's portrait. Long ago the U.S. Treasury Department also printed the following large-denomination bills: William McKinley ($500), James Madison ($5,000), and Salmon P. Chase ($10,000), and Woodrow Wilson ($100,000). However, the $100,000 gold certificate bills were only used for official transactions between Federal Reserve Banks, and only printed during a three week period between 1934 and 35.

After the first encounter with Mosely, and DeNiro swipes his ID, he is walking away from the camera, then jumps back around and flashes the ID, lmfao

When De Niro and Grodin are in the bar scamming for twenties...

Mardukis: See any funny looking people around here?

Guy sitting at the bar: No, can't say that I have

Mardukis: Are you from around here?

Just wanna 2nd an earlier poster's catch when Marvin approves - with an agreeing grin - Jack's saying he - Marvin - is a great bountyhunter.

There are SO MANY great characters in this flick ... but Marvin I gotta say tops 'em all
as my favorite.

The porter in the train car who gets passed in the narrow aisle and tells Mosley that he - Mosley - isn't Mosley or I forget who is who but the porter's trying to just be helpful
not realizing he's just being annoying.
