Solid 6/10 for me. It's an entertaining sly horror comedy.
shareI saw this film when it was new. I was with a date. She laughed and thought it was funny. She must have caught on to the naughty humor (I guess). It seemed too silly to me, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I don't ever notice it circulationg anywhere, and I'm surprised it was mentioned here. Didn't know Grant was in this, but I do recognize some of the names of the principals now.
I wondered why Ken Russell would make such a cheesy low budget film after having some success before. Not that he suddenly had a Golden Ticket, but this seemed like a very strange film to direct.

Tame for a Russel movie, though he did manage to get some sacrilegious imagery in there. Freaky compared to your typical horror movie of the time.
Kind of a weird, unique take on the vampire movie. Eleanor Donoghue seducing the teenage boy scout was pretty memorable.
Guy who did this thread 15 years ago has no clue. Ha!
