Who is your favourite henchman?

Not including Karl (and obviously Hans doesn't count just in case anyone is confused ).

On the topic, I just love how distinct each of Hans' team is. One gets a clear idea of how many of them there are, and the order in which they're dispatched. In fact they're such a fascinating team I'd almost wished we'd got a film taken from their POV (perhaps featuring a different ending in which they, or at least some of them, succeed and we close the film with them sitting on a beach earning 20%).

Uli the chocolate thief. Loved the look on his face as he is stealing the chocolate bar! Very crafty.

I also liked Marco as well.

I love Uli's cheeky look to make sure no one is watching as he dug into the candy counter (perhaps forgetting that they're about to blow up the entire building including several hostages).

And Marco was a great hothead. He really displayed some relish in trying to kill McClane. Out of all the terrorists he was one of the ones with the biggest sadistic streak, I think.

Well it's kinda hard on account of the fact that none of them are really written to display much personality beyond sadism and greed.  I'll assume Theo is also out of the equation, right? Well I suppose I'll have to go for Franco. Simply because I liked the tone of his voice when he said "We have to find him and shut him up, he's telling them everything!"

Yes, I liked "naughty" Uli... I like Leong in general, though his character usually dies. He seems to use Bruce Dern's early advice: "If you're going to play 'the third cowboy on the left,' play the most interesting 'third cowboy on the left' there is.

Also, I think his name was Marco, the one who said "You are a police-man... you haf rules." Somehow he struck me as the usual student-intellectual who does poorly in university, so he turns to being a professional bully. I think it was his glasses and wonderful accent.

That was Tony, Karl's brother. Marco was the loose cannon trying to shoot John under the table.

I love the candy thief and Karl and Marco ....but for some odd reason, I like the Huey Lewis looking guy at the door.

I like Theo. But he isn't exactly a henchman since he never has a gun. Probably go with the Asian guy that eats the Nestlie Crunch Bar.
