I really want to know what went wrong

Obviously this is one of the worst movies ever made. and usually when movies turn out horrible, theres an explaination why, but we have no idea what happened on the set of this film. i heard somewhere that there were constant rewrites which is understandable but doesnt explain why the shark roared, the effects turned out horrendous and the climax was just confusing and pointless. since this movie is one of those famously bad movies, they should make a documentary and explain all of the events that took place prior to making this film because the whole world is curious. How could one of the best movies ever made have a sequel thats one of the worst movies ever made?!!??!?!?!!?!?

It went wrong for me when Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong and John Putch were not back to play Michael Kathryn and Shawn. They were so good in Jaws 3. I just could not connect with Michael in this film. I was affected to an extent when Shawn died, but if it had been the guy who had played him last, that would have really hurt.

For me it's the "psychic link" Ellen Brody seems to have with the shark. She touches the water with one of her feet and immediately senses the shark. Come on now. Very silly. And this is only one of several little visions or feelings that she has. Lorraine Gary was fabulous as always and I give her props for rolling with this absurd character development as best she could.

Jaws 3  at least it only lags in a couple scenes. Revenge starts out pretty damn good but then we get to the Bahamas and it's like drip...drip...drip...nothing til the banana boat which initiates the final act.
