Who do you think has the death scene from G1 bots?
I personally believe Iron hide has the best death in the movie. He is doing everything he can to complete his mission for Optimus, but in the end falls short. He ends his life by desperately crawling to Megatron's foot and looking up at his villain shouting, "No!" only to hear "Such Heroic nonsense... [BOOM]" Certainly most emotional to say the least!

1. Optimus Prime
Everything about this scene just screams emotional. Optimus lying damaged on the table, Perceptor scanning his injuries, Kup observing the life signs at the monitor, everyone else standing in the room waiting for the result, all the while Vince DiCola's mournful tune is being played. And then we hear those six awful words from Perceptor we thought we'd never hear. The ending in particular gets me; as Optimus perishes onscreen, the last bars of the music feels exactly like the fading of a lifeforce.
2. Ironhide
The very moment Megatron became a monster in my eyes.
3. Megatron
I know that he was converted into Galvatron, but my point is that they appear to be different characters. There's even a few times when Galvatron mentions Megatron in the third person. The moment Galvatron was born, Megatron died.
4. The destruction of the planet Lithone
The beginning of the scene was an eye-opener that shows just how the dark the movie is going to be and foreshadows the extreme devastation in the events that are about to follow.
5. Prowl
Despite watching the film so many times, seeing the smoke escape from Prowl's mouth still gives me a sense of horror.
Starscream turning to ashes. Also that Insecticon getting his head run over by Kup and Hot Rod was cool.
