This is the best Friday the 13th movie ever, good kills, good comedy, I just love it.

Poorly Lived and Poorly Died, Poorly Buried and No One Criedshare
Jason Lives has always ranked in the top half of Friday movies for me, but never quite reached first place status. If we're only counting proper Jason movies (as in, not counting him popping out of the lake at the end of the first one), The Final Chapter has been my favorite for years now. Part III was my favorite as a kid/teen, but over the years, it's tumbled to the bottom end of my personal top five Fridays (maybe even out of my top five, now that I think about it).
But Jason Lives is certainly up there. I know it catches some sh!t for having a bit of fun with the heretofore standard Friday formula, but it doesn't bother me. Heck, I was 10 when JL came out (although I didn't see it until I was 11), so I suppose I grew up appreciating the difference.
