The Blue Headlights were as cool as sh.t. Who knows if they would have served a purpose though.

They were cool and I can't remember any other film showing vehicles with blue headlights.
I thought maybe so they could easily identify each other during combat, so they wouldn't blow each other to pieces in the dark or if the enemy had similar vehicles.
