i rented it in the 80's. never saw it anymore for years,not on cable or other video rental clubs i belonged to, until i bought it on dvd in 2006. this is 1 of those movies you have to really dig around for. except for this board I never hear ppl talking about it. i liked it as a teen,& still like it now i'm an adult.

This has ALWAYS been on my personal "Top 5" list (along with "The River's Edge", "Dawn Of The Dead", etc) since I was a kid. I agree it's a must-see movie. Fantastic!

I couldn't agree with you any more. This film is one of those great gems from the eighties cinema that just fell through the cracks. This movie is destined to find it's cult audience, it's just a matter of time!

I thought I was one of only a handfull of people that appreciated this underrated great movie. Glad to see I was wrong, but I don't think the movie will ever really be accepted as the classic it is.

Just watched it on Netflix, and I thought it was really good. I'm surprised that the movie's still not very well known. You'd think it'd have more of a cult following by now. But because it's on Netflix, hopefully more people will start to "discover" it.

Well, it's not all that great, and it's disturbing as hell--I mean, there was no real reason the guy hurting everybody had to go of the way he did---he was just a damn psychopath, and his friend was just as *beep* going along with the s*** he did. Only saw this once---that was enough for me.
