I think this might be Ford's best movie. It's between this and The Fugitive for me.
shareI'd throw in "The Conversation" too. I realize his role is a supporting one, but it's an important role, and he has a lot more screen time than you might think.

shareThe movie might be good, but I think this was the beginning of decline for Ford in the role choices he made. He used to be great in larger than life - out of this world - roles, but he abandoned all that and started appearing in mediocre romantic thrillers, or what ever... what a wasted career, IMHO.

In terms of popular appeal, probably Indiana Jones.
