This was awesome

Very "short" Sci-Fi movie, only being 76 minutes long, but it's everything you want from an 80's sci-fi film.

This film has so many interesting ideas. When Jack

swam in the ocean, you see cities above the ocean, which were really intriguing. The weaponry was also really nice.

It's always awesome when dead bodies in 70's, 80's sci-fi disappear with a glow.

The villain was good. Helen Hunt was so pretty, and played her part well. The Zombie effects were interesting.

The world Jack lived in, looked awesome.

All in all, I loved it.

Always been a fave of mine. Love the period synth music too.

Tim Thomerson is also in Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn, another low-budget sci-fi from the 1980s, this time 1983.

I loved the tag line for this...

"Jack Deth is back...and he's never been here before!"

I believe it was a Charles Band production, who produced a lot of cheap horror and sci fi films in the 80s, some of them rip offs of other movies such as Ghoulies, a Gremlins rip off. They usually had a lot of latex monsters, which looked cheesy even back then.

Great tagline! Yeah, I own a number of Charles Band's movies.

One of the first movies I ever saw as a kid in a cinema was Metalstorm.
