This seems to me like a movie that would appeal mostly to girls, am I wrong? It's not a comedy, and there isn't much action, it's more a character study which is why I think probably most guys wouldn't like it. I'd be interested to know if there are any guys out there who did enjoy this movie.

shareI see what you mean but I am a guy and I liked it. It really is not a movie full of twists and turn but a gentle character study of three kids managing life in the mid 80's. I think the three leads are likeable and the 80's ness of it all make it fun to watch as well. I understand it is not everybody cup of tea but I like that film.
