For playing a nerd in 2 movies, she was still an uber hottie.
Not so much in Revenge of the Nerds...
But dear God, I had such a crush on her, after seeing this movie, when I was younger. What the hell ever happened to her? She just seem to fall off the face of the earth.

Aww shoot, yes. Right from her first scene she bowled me over with her hyper quick-talking breathless adorabilitude. Then she shows up in a wetsuit. Howwwwlll!
I was a teenager in the 80's and the biggest nerd/geek at my HS. I liked this movie when it came out and loved Meyrink and her character, Jordan. When I attended college I half expected my experience to be like this movie (except for lots of studying, it wasn't.) Alas, I never met a gal like Jordan, not even close.
Tell me about it. I wanted my jordan in college. Now we did do some crazy ass *beep* in our dorm. In fact, we got kicked off campus and had to get an apartment because of it. We had ramps on the outside of our dorms that you walked up to get to the upper floors. We flooded the hallways and the ramps and went surfing down them. caused too much water damage and that was what finally got us kicked off campus. Well that and when we used a large sling shot to shoot water baloons over a building seperating us from our rival dorm. We pelted them pretty good for a while before they figured out where they were coming from. Oh, and when we stole our rival dorms christmas tree and hung it up upside down in front of their dorm. So while I did not find the jordan sex symbol I had created in my mind, we did do some pretty crazy *beep* and have fun that way. I never could find a hidden door in my dorm closet though. But we did have steam tunnels on campus that were cool to explore. Maybe if I studied more I would have been able to create some super cool laser and shoot my profs house.
Add my vote too. I'm glad that there seems to be so much agreement about her here. Her Jordan character was totally adorable, and precisely "my type" (very smart, creative, eccentric science-lab girls). With cute hair too!
"that accent" was part of the sillyness. it is just cringe inducing rather than funny. of course, with all the comedic heavy hitters in that movie, there's no way to avoid standing out as "bad".
