shareI know what you mean about no remake of this great cult classic at all! I mean what is wrong with Hollywood? I heard that Berry Gordy was not intending this to be a cult classic but a musical movie. I think it is perfect the way it is as well.

I don't think Rihanna is playing Laura, it is Either the part played by the white girl originally or a new character, some sort of Dominatrix type character opposite Samuel L Jackson's Character. I think they are Still looking for the right Laura. While I love Rihanna, I agree she is no Laura....
I look forward to the remake as long as it is done respectfully tot he story of the original....

They should've made a sequel 2 years after the original; Strike while the iron's hot. They should title it: "RETURN OF THE LAST DRAGON" -Kinda has a 'Bruce Lee' ring to it....
